A will-o'-the-wisp or ignis fatuus (Latin, from ignis, "fire" + fatuus, "foolish"), also called will-o'-wisp, corpse candle, jack-o'-lantern, friar's lantern, gunderslislik, ghost light, and wisp, is the folklore term for a ghostly light sometimes seen at night or twilight over bogs, swamps, and marshes. It resembles a flickering lamp and is sometimes said to recede if approached. Much traditional, non-scientific belief surrounds the phenomenon. ((yeah, yeah, yeah. Naming it Ghost Light is just way too original I know))
"It pretends to guide the way for people, only to suck out their life force. Its light burns with the life force sucked from people and Pokémon."
This Pokémon was egg #219 in I Trust Severus Snape's 7-day site-wide shiny hunt started on March 27th, 2011.
