After some time, filled with frustration and other pitiful emotions arising from my vague and incomplete spirit, I left the portal from the Distortion World and did not find myself in Turnback Cave as I had expected.
It must have been a different portal, because I was standing on a path leading to a building marked "Professor Cypress' Lab." Normally, I would have dismissed this and kept walking until I could determine my whereabouts, but I saw many people going in and out of this lab.. several of them had legendary Pokémon at their sides! Curious, I entered the lab, was introduced to Professor Cypress, and left with six eggs. (These later hatched into Pachirisu, Poochyena, Hoppip, Magnemite, Cranidos, and Dratini.) I managed to convince myself that completing this dex would not only give me time to research a new plan, I might also obtain Pokémon whose powers I could employ to carry it out..
Sometimes, I am too busy to return interactions, but, most of the time, I will. ..Not, of course, because I feel indebted to you, but because the points I earn by doing so will help make more Pokémon available to me in the future--
